ANA winner Ryu takes Annika Major Award
So Yeon Ryu claimed the Rolex Annika Major Award on Sunday as the best overall performer in the LPGAs five major championships this year.Ryu won the points-based award named for Annika Sorenstam by winning the ANA Inspiration at years start, then going T-14 at the KPMG Womens PGA Championship, T-3 at the U.S. Womens Open, T-43 at the Ricoh Womens British Open and T-40 at the Evian Championship.Ryu finished with 78 points, 10 more than Anna Nordqvist.
