Ko was first in putting in the LPGA ranks last year, second the year before. She has made some sweeping changes in her game to the start the new year. She is working with a new coach (Gary Gilchrist), new caddie (Gary Matthews) and new equipment (PXG), including a new putter.Shes made so many changes, her brain might be just a bit in overload right now, Jane Crafter said as analyst during the Golf Channel telecast.Ko is tied for 64th, nine shots off the lead. She had a round of six bogeys and four birdies.Im hitting the ball good enough, to where I can have a lower one, and hopefully thats coming on the weekend, Ko said.Ko wasnt the only big name struggling to make the weekend. Brooke Henderson, who was playing alongside Ko, also made the cut on the number after posting a 77.LPGA Hall of Famer Karrie Webb, who has won the Womens Australian Open a record five times, missed the cut for the first time in her 21 starts in the event.
